Honolulu Holiday Store Window Displays

Tori Richard

As a long time Waikiki resident who walks that walk frequently, I see the most amazing window displays on a regular basis. While I consider myself to have an artistic eye, I usually take them for granted, as most folks do. However during the holiday season, while you may be decking the halls, these boutiques are seriously decking out their windows!

Following are store window displays for this 2016 holiday season, from mostly boutique shops in Waikiki along Kalakaua Avenue, the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center and the Waikiki International Market Place, as well as Ala Moana Center. Enjoy. ;-)

I really enjoyed this entertaining post until you made it offensive at the end with gender stereotypes.

      Victoria,

Point taken. Mahalo for the feedback. ;-)

      Amy,

I got the idea for this post from a Christmas movie I came across on TV while flipping channels about two window display artists, called Window Wonderland (2013). I just thought it was intriguing how seriously and involved they take their work. Being I’ve worked in retail advertising and marketing for many many years, I can totally relate.

There was a reality show I stumbled upon, Window Warriors. Visual merchandisers competed to win whatever the prize was, and a christmas window at Macy’s NYC. There were only about 8 episodes and it ended last week, you can probably catch it on direct tv or somewhere online (I watched it online)
