Oi, oi, oi! That is a LOT of poi! Particularly intrigued as to how to use the poi for frying batter, though

When I was a kid never could eat certain food and poi was one them. My now late grandmother use to work for a while at Young Fish Market on Liliha and brought back lomi salmon with some poi. I try taste it with salmon and was shock it taste good and that how I now like poi.

That nonallergenic feature of poi is huge. And one reason why many hospitals stock up on bottled and powdered poi. Of course on Kauai it is Hanalei Poi or Makaweli for those who like to mix.
