BISCOFF® BLOWOUT!

In other non-related, yet related, yet non-related news, Times Supermarkets’ Oahu locations currently have a sale on BISCOFF® Spread, effective October 2 to 8, 2013 at all Oahu Times Supermarket locations. Yay! Take that, Trader Joe’s. Until you come here. Pretty please!

Either regular or crunchy, Biscoff® Spread is now only $3.69 per 14oz. jar at Times Supermarket, whereas other retailers in Hawaii have it at regular retail price around $6 each. Cookie-liciously sweet deal!

I’m gettin’ my first ever-ever-ever jar, then probably falling deeply in love with her, makin’ me some Biscoff Banana Lumpia, Biscoff-stuffed Malasadas and Biscoff Haupia Pie. Whooh!

    Pomai,

If you ever get a chance, try the Trader Joe’s Cookie Butter. To me, it’s way better than the Biscoff spread. And it comes in crunchy also.

      Kelli,

I did try the Trader Joe’s Cookie Butter, which is what’s shown stuffed in that mochi in the article photo above. I see TJ’s also now has Cookie Butter mixed with swirls of chocolate in it…

There seems to be a divided opinion on who’s is better between Trader Joe’s Speculoos Cookie Butter & Biscoff Spread. I now have my Biscoff Spread; both creamy and crunchy, so that’s all I’ll be comparing, as there’s no Trader Joe’s stores on Oahu (at least not yet!).

    Pomai,

I was in Vegas last month & at Trader Joe’s the cookie butter is not on the shelves. You have to ask for an employee for jars. Evidently, there is such a buying frenzy that they have to monitor the sales very closely. Talk about crazy…
